Let\u2019s take a look at this sentence:<\/p>\n<p>\u0623\u0646\u0627 \u0641\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0628\u064a\u062a  \/ana fi al bait\/<br \/>Meaning: I am in the house.<\/p>\n<p>This is an example that uses an Arabic preposition with pronouns. The preposition \/fi\/ \u0641\u064a is used to state that this person is \u201cin\u201d in the house. The same can be applied to the rest of the pronouns. Let\u2019s apply we in Arabic.<\/p>\n<p>\u0646\u062d\u0646 \u0641\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0628\u064a\u062a  \/nahnu fi al bait\/ <br \/>Meaning: We are in the house.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s another example of the pronoun they: <br \/>\u0647\u0646\u064e\u0651 \u0641\u064a \u0627\u0644\u0628\u064a\u062a  \/honna fi al bait\/<br \/>They (female) are in the house.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-possessive-pronouns\">Possessive Pronouns<\/h2>\n<p>Possessive pronouns are different than personal pronouns in that they are not a separate word, and instead turn into suffixes. The suffix indicates whom it is referring to. Similar to possessive pronouns, they are categorized into singular, dual, and plural, as well as female or male.
