However, when hailing a sayarat \u2018ajruh in an Arab country, remember the following advice:<\/p>\n

Make sure that the sayarat \u2018ajruh is legit.<\/strong>

This means check to see if it\u2019s \u0645\u0631\u062e\u0635 \u0628\u0627\u0644\u0643\u0627\u0645\u0644 \u0648\u0645\u0635\u0631\u062d \u0628\u0647 murakhas bilkaamil wamusrah bih (fully licensed and authorized) by local agencies. Many companies operate illegal sayarat al\u2019ujra and take advantage of unsuspecting tourists \u2014 don\u2019t be one of them! Most legit sayarat \u2018ajruh operators normally have licensing information on display somewhere inside the taxi or sometimes even on the cab\u2019s exterior.<\/p>\n

Check for a flat rate from the airport.<\/strong>
<\/h4>\n

Most sayaraat il\u2019ujrah<\/em><\/em><\/em> that run to and from the airport charge a flat rate. Therefore, ask about the flat rate before you get into the sayarat il\u2019ujrah<\/em><\/em><\/em>.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Always make sure the taxi <\/a>driver uses the meter.<\/strong>
<\/h4>\n

If you\u2019re in the city, make sure the \u0633\u0627\u0626\u0642 \u0633\u064a\u0627\u0631\u0629 \u0623\u062c\u0631\u0629 \u2013 saa’iq sayarat \u2018ujrah<\/em> (Arab taxi driver) turns on the \u0639\u062f\u0627\u062f \u2013 a\u2019dadd<\/em> (meter). Many times the driver will conveniently forget to turn on the meter and try to milk you for more money, so always rely on the meter. If he tells you it\u2019s broken, get another taxi!<\/p>\n

In most Arab countries, tipping the \u0633\u0627\u0626\u0642 \u2013 saa\u2019iq driver is not necessary. But, if the taxi driver is polite and honest with you, there\u2019s nothing wrong with leaving him a little tip!<\/p>\n
