Do not get discouraged<\/h2>\n

Do not believe that you need a special talent to learn a new language. Indeed it is said that Arabic is one of the hardest languages to learn. However, if you get the basics, you\u2019ll see that it is just like any other. And don\u2019t believe that there is a certain age limit to learning a new language. Focus on the common Arabic words<\/h2>\n

You might want to know how to say your hello\u2019s, goodbye\u2019s and congratulations. For example, the English word \u201clove\u201d has 11 counterparts in Arabic, each of them conveys a different stage in the process of falling in love (for example \u201chawa\u201d describes the initial attraction, \u201calaaqa\u201d, describes the next stage when the heart begins to attach itself to the beloved, before evolving into a blind desire \u201cishq\u201d and all-consuming love \u201cshaghaf\u201d). If you ask us, we think Arabic is quite poetic, isn\u2019t it? Knowing synonyms will also help you to learn Arabic vocabulary.<\/p>\n

Make connections between words<\/h2>\n

As you dwell more and more into Arabic, you might notice that some words are similar to your native language. Arabic had a lot of influence in other languages (German, Bengali, Bosnian, Croatian, English, Hebrew, Hindi, Persian, Turkish or Romance languages like French, Catalan, Italian, Portuguese, Sicilian, to name a few). For example \u201csugar\u201d in Spanish would be \u201caz\u00facar\u201d, while in Arabic is \u201csukkar\u201d. In English, we would say \u201ccotton\u201d, in Arabic would be \u201cqu\u1e6dn\u201d, or for \u201calgebra\u201d Arabs use \u201cal-jabr\u201d. This would definitely help you even more in remembering words faster and to learn Arabic vocabulary.<\/p>\n
