The 2022 FIFA
\nWorld Cup is an international football tournament involving the men’s teams of
\nFIFA member associations and the 22nd FIFA World Cup.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

It is taking
\nplace in Qatar from November 20 to December 18, 2022. And will be the first
\nWorld Cup in the Arab and Muslim world. The World Cup was awarded to Qatar in
\n2010.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

It is the most
\nexpensive World Cup ever held, at an estimated cost of over $220 billion.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first five proposed venues for the World Cup were
\nannounced in early March 2010.<\/span><\/p>\n

Qatar wanted the stadiums to reflect its history and
\nculture, and their design to meet the following requirements: heritage,
\ncomfort, accessibility and sustainability.<\/span><\/p>\n

The stadiums are equipped with cooling systems, which
\naim to reduce the temperature inside the stadium to 20 \u00b0C (36 \u00b0F).<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

\nof Al Khor where the numerous parks, lakes and protected greenbelt land stretch
\nout from the stadium to the sea \u2013 ensuring a lasting legacy from the world\u2019s

Over time, the gold exterior will fade, replicating
\nthe craftsmanship of aged metal to create a living place with a cultural touch.<\/span><\/p>\n

On December 18, 2022, 80,000 fans will gather here for
\nthe biggest ever FIFA\u2122 World Cup final. Subsequently, in line with Qatar’s
\ncommitment to sustainable development, the new Lusail Stadium will be
\ntransformed into a community space of schools, shops, cafes, sports facilities
\nand health clinics.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
