Though the name suggests that they might be used to refer to your aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives (and, technically, we suppose they can be), in Arabic, relative pronouns come after definite nouns to introduce sentences that describe these nouns or provide additional information about them.<\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s All Relative<\/span><\/h1>\n

In English, we know them as \u201cwho\u201d, \u201cwhich\u201d, and \u201cthat\u201d, but in Arabic, relative pronouns depend on the number and gender of the noun. What\u2019s more, they always come after the noun.<\/span><\/p>\n

When referring to a masculine singular noun use the relative pronoun \u0627\u0644\u0651\u064e\u0630\u064a \/<\/span>allaTHee\/.<\/span> For example:<\/span><\/p>\n
