A Whole Tool Box of Negatives<\/span><\/h1>\n

The following are words that you can use to negate words, phrases, or sentences in Arabic. <\/span><\/p>\n


<\/b><\/p>\n

To make a noun or adjective negative, we use the word \u0644\u064e\u064a\u0652\u0633\u064e\/<\/span>laysa<\/span>, conjugated according to gender, as in:<\/span><\/p>\n

Negating the 2<\/span>nd<\/span><\/span> Person<\/span><\/h1>\n


<\/b><\/p>\n

When negating the 2<\/span>nd<\/span><\/span> person \u201cyou\u201d in Arabic, we use \u0644\u064e\u0633\u0652\u062a\u064e\/<\/span>lasta<\/span>\/\u201cYou are not\u201d which must also agree in gender.<\/span><\/p>\n


<\/b><\/p>\n

For example, the masculine uses \u0644\u064e\u0633\u0652\u062a\u064e\/<\/span>lasta<\/span>:<\/span><\/p>\n
